I wanted a tool that was easy to use. This means it should have a simple design that lets me find what I need quickly. If I can navigate the tool without getting confused, it makes managing my NPS® account much smoother and more enjoyable.
Functionality and Features
Next, I looked at what features the tools offered. I needed tools that could help me track my contributions, check how my investments are performing, and plan for my retirement. The right features give me useful information to make smart decisions about my savings.
Customer Support
Customer support is very important to me. I wanted to know that if I had questions or ran into problems, there would be someone available to help me. Whether it’s through chat, email, or phone, good customer support makes sure I can get assistance when I need it.

What Makes it a Good NPS® Tool?
One of the key features that makes SurveySparrow one of the best NPS® tools is its multi-channel distribution capabilities. I can share my surveys through WhatsApp as well as collect feedback through offline surveys. I personally think not many survey tools offer more than 10 channels to share the surveys.
Another good feature is the real-time analytics; where results update in real time as responses come in.. And that’s not just it. You can make customer dashboards to track down the change in results. One such example is shown below.
I love how scalable the tool can be. As in, they provide features for startups as well as enterprises. Not to mention the integration capabilities that make it easy to adapt to my current tech stack.
Echo, SurveySparrow’s conversational AI agent, asks a follow-up question after each NPS score. A customer who gives a 6 might be asked what would make them more likely to recommend you, so each score arrives with the reason behind it.

There are quite a few plans to look into. For individuals, the starting price is $19 per month. And for Teams, the pricing starts at $79 per month. There is a difference in how many surveys you can do, the amount of responses you can collect and so on.

SatisMeter is a comprehensive feedback collection management software from Productboard. It allows us to create customer surveys to collect and analyze feedback. An NPS® tool is one among the many tools they provide.
What Makes it a Good NPS® Tool?
Though not that extensive, I was able to share the NPS® survey through web, mobile, and email. The integration capability was also good, but merging into your existing tech stack can be tricky. If you want to integrate with tools like Salesforce and Zapier, you can do it. However, they don't provide integration with tools like HubSpot and PowerBI.
What Can You Get From the Free Version?
The free plan allows up to 25 responses per month only. Satismeter does not publish a survey limit for the free plan; so upon exploring the free version, I was able to create 2 surveys.
What I Disliked About the Tool
SatisMeter covers the basics but offers fewer survey types than broader platforms. The only way to export data is through a CSV file.
What’s the Pricing Like?
There is a Growth and Enterprise plan. The Growth plan pricing starts at $199 per month. As for the Enterprise plan, you will have to connect with their team for details.
3. Jotform

Jotform is a survey form builder app that's best known for its pre-designed templates. They provide more than ten thousand surveys and form templates, which is much more than any other tools provide. Recently, it has grown in popularity for creating payment and lead generation forms.
What Makes it a Good NPS® Tool?
The forms offered are highly customizable. So I was able to structure and design the NPS® survey to my requirement. Also, when it comes to feedback collection and analysis, Jotform tables are really good. It helps segment and analyze the data with ease.
I liked the integration capability as well, especially with MailChimp.
What Can You Get From the Free Version?
The free plan allows up to 5 forms, 100 submissions per month, and 100 MB of storage.
What I Disliked About the Tool
One thing I disliked was that I couldn't find a way to download numerical representations of form responses. Another thing was the lack of options to download data when shared with other non-account users.
What’s the Pricing Like?
Their pricing plans are threefold, namely - Bronze, Silver, and Gold. The starter plan, which is Bronze, starts at $34 per month for one user.

Survicate can be installed through Google Tag Manager, so setup doesn’t require a developer.
With respect to NPS®, it offers a decent amount of channels to collect feedback. And it was really easy to integrate it with our internal system. Not to mention the NPS® results from every channel appear in one dashboard.
What Can You Get From the Free Version?
Survicate allows 1 active surveys at a time, and I was able to collect up to 25 responses per month. But the attractive part was their insight hub. It connects all our feedback sources to the tool (Survicate) and extracts them automatically.

What I Disliked About the Tool
In my experience, it can be a bit overwhelming for those who want to handle a lot of different surveys at a time. Also, some features that used to be in the free version are now only available with the paid version.

I have already told you it's really easy to use, but with respect to NPS®, one of the key features is its real-time analytics. NPS® scores and feedback appear in real time as responses arrive. This capability is essential for making swift decisions based on customer insights, and I truly value how it keeps me informed and responsive.
Moreover, the surveys created in the tool are fully optimized for mobile devices. This makes it incredibly convenient for my customers to respond from their smartphones or tablets.

You can create an unlimited number of surveys with any number of questions. However, you can only collect 50 responses per month.
What I Disliked About the Tool
The major downside I saw was that NPS® survey questions were only available with the PRO business plan. And that plan is like the highest pricing plan the tool offers.

There are a couple of things I liked about the tool which subsequently makes it a good NPS® tool. The first one is how aligned it is for mobile surveys. Like whatever the type of mobile devices, the survey quality remains strong.
Secondly, the distribution channels. Breaking the norm, it also allows us to share surveys through WhatsApp, SMS, and even social networks.

The free plan is limited to 10 responses per month. This, in my experience, is very limited.
What I Disliked About the Tool
Setting up the tool is the most tedious process I have ever witnessed. As for the support team, I felt them to be rather lethargic. And it turns out, I wasn't the only one who felt that way. The reviews I skimmed through also mention the same. Some users mentioned that setup takes longer than expected and that support responses can be slow. The free plan is also the most limited on this list, at 10 responses per month.
What’s the Pricing Like?

If you are looking for a tool just for NPS®, then try Thermostat.io. It's a dedicated NPS® software that helps measure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
What Makes it a Good NPS® Tool?
The fact that it is an NPS® tool and not a survey tool itself answers the question. But what I like about the tool is its single-question surveys. As in, we can ask for a simple one-question survey with an optional feedback box. This approach essentially reduces survey fatigue and improves response rate.
Another reason it's best is its user-friendliness. You can add a list of email addresses and send NPS® surveys to all of them in one step.
What Can You Get From the Free Version?
The free option is generous in terms of collecting feedback - 200 responses per month. However, we can only have one active survey at a time.
What I Disliked About the Tool
Thermostat.io only supports NPS® surveys. If you also need CSAT, CES, or other survey types, you’ll need a second tool.
What’s the Pricing Like?

What Makes it a Good NPS® Tool?
It offers all the basic features of the NPS® tool. For me, what I liked was the dashboard. The dashboard shows your NPS® score for the last 30 days, along with:

- Total responses
- Complete response report
- Response rate
Also, they use IBM Watson-Powered Sentiment analysis to provide us with the underlying customer emotions behind each feedback.
What Can You Get From the Free Version?
We can create an unlimited number of surveys, but the response limit per month is 50. On top of it, it allows us to send out 500 emails and offers 10,000 pageviews.
In my perspective, the free plan suits startups measuring NPS for the first time.
What I Disliked About the Tool
I'd say it lacks extensive customization capabilities. With other tools, I can design the survey to my needs and even filter out to create focused reporting. Both were absent in Qualaroo.
Also, the interface felt bloated and less intuitive.
