Goal

As part of its consulting practice, Ellipsia set out to create a more robust and scalable way to assess AI preparedness and technology readiness across diverse client organizations.  As a consultancy focused on long-term client engagements, they needed a secure, intuitive, and mobile-optimized platform that could capture precise data, deliver quick insights, and align with their focus on clarity, reliability, and human-centric transformation.

Ultimately, the goal was to collect high-quality data faster and clearly understand each organization’s preparedness, enabling more targeted consulting recommendations  and better decision-making.

Challenges

Before adopting a dedicated survey platform, Ellipsia relied heavily on manual interviews and call-based assessments to gather client insights. While this approach allowed for depth, it was time-intensive, difficult to scale, and created delays in analysis and feedback delivery. Given that their engagements involve complex, high-precision questionnaires, the manual process also limited their ability to efficiently structure, standardize, and post-process responses.

They also faced challenges in minimizing client effort. Live interviews often introduced peer pressure and time constraints, which could impact the accuracy and thoughtfulness of responses. Solution 

Ellipsia integrated  SurveySparrow into its assessment methodology, using the platform’s intuitive survey builder to design structured, easy-to-follow questionnaires that measure clients’ AI readiness across multiple dimensions. Features like matrix questions, conditional logic, and customizable paths helped them capture complex inputs in a clear and organized way.

They also used formulas and scoring logic within the platform to calculate an AI readiness score for each client, making it easier to quantify preparedness and maturity levels in a structured manner. The platform’s reporting capabilities then helped the team quickly analyze responses and turn them into meaningful, insight-driven outputs that feed directly into Ellipsia’s strategic recommendations
