Being a B2B SaaS firm focused on transforming enterprise procurement,  Akiro Labs aims to help organizations make smarter sourcing decisions in today’s fast-changing global environment.

To achieve this, they needed to modernize how data was collected and used across the procurement process.

Improving the internal customer experience was also key, as category managers and strategic buyers needed a more efficient way to gather input across departments and align with business needs. To support this, Akiro looked for a flexible and intuitive solution that could handle unstructured data, enable deeper analysis, and integrate smoothly into their broader platform.

Product-Level Challenges

Before the inception of akirolabs’ AI-powered SaaS platform our customers previously relied on Excel and manual processes to align procurement activities with business needs. This made it difficult to manage complex workflows and slowed down analysis, particularly when working with qualitative and unstructured data. As a result, drawing insights and ensuring consistency across strategic planning efforts remained a challenge.

Solution

To improve how their customers collected and used procurement data, Akiro Labs embedded SurveySparrow directly into their platform. This enabled procurement teams to move away from manual processes and use customizable surveys to capture high-quality, structured inputs across departments.

With flexible question types, SurveySparrow made it easier to gather qualitative insights. Executive dashboards and reporting tools helped turn responses into actionable sourcing decisions. Its user-friendly interface, white-labeling capabilities, and ability to easily share surveys across platforms made the tool feel like a natural part of the Akiro experience and accessible to all stakeholders.

Results
